Welcome to Prettylaws — a small boutique where fashion, beauty, and the art of being unmistakably you come together.
Everything here starts with a story. We create custom oil paintings made from your own photographs, turning a memory into something you can hang on a wall and keep forever. Alongside them you’ll find curated fashion and wearable accessories, and handcrafted nail art designed to match your mood, your outfit, or your occasion. Most of what we offer can be personalised — colours, sizes, details, all yours to decide.
We believe beautiful things shouldn’t feel mass-produced. So we keep our collections small, work closely with every single customer, and share the process as we go: new designs, styling ideas, behind-the-scenes studio photos, and honest notes on the products and tools we actually use every day.
That last part is what this site is for. Here you’ll find our guides on beauty routines, fashion finds, and the everyday items we genuinely trust. When we recommend something, it’s because it earned a place in our own work first.

What we make
Custom oil portraits
Painted from your photographs — people, pets, houses, or a moment you want to keep. We advise on canvas size, medium, and framing before any paint goes down, and we share progress photos as the work develops. Every piece is varnished, cured, and shipped with hanging hardware and care instructions.
Fashion & wearable pieces
Statement jewellery, scarves and small accessories chosen for texture and finish rather than trend. Small batches, limited repeats, and care notes with every order so your pieces last.
Handcrafted nail art
Custom press-on sets and hand-painted designs. We also publish the at-home routines we use in the studio, because a good manicure shouldn’t require a salon appointment every fortnight.
How we choose what we recommend

Common questions
Can you paint from an old or low-quality photo?
Often, yes. Faded prints and small digital files can still make lovely paintings — send us what you have and we’ll tell you honestly what’s possible before you commit.
How long does a commission take?
Timelines vary with size and complexity, and we’ll give you a clear estimate before starting. Rush requests are sometimes possible — just ask.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Our full catalogue and shipping options live on our Etsy shop.
Where do you write from?
From the studio. Every guide on the blog comes out of something we were already making.
